This policy explains what personal data Waynix collects, why, and your rights over it.
1. Who is responsible
Waynix (waynixapp.com) is the controller of the personal data processed through the service. For any privacy request, contact us at the address at the bottom of this page.
2. Data we collect
Account details (name, email, phone, preferred language); for drivers, verification documents (national ID / CIN, driving licence, vehicle registration, insurance) and vehicle information; trip and booking details; wallet and recharge records including proof-of-payment images; and technical data needed to keep your session secure.
3. How we use it
To create and secure your account, verify drivers, publish and search trips, process booking requests, run the prepaid wallet and commission, send you notifications, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet our legal obligations.
4. Legal basis
We process data to perform the service you asked for, to meet legal obligations, and for our legitimate interest in running a safe marketplace — consistent with Moroccan Law 09-08 and the CNDP's guidance.
5. Who can see your data
A driver and passenger only exchange contact details after a booking is accepted, and only what is needed to complete the ride. Verification documents are visible only to you and Waynix administrators — never to other users. We use trusted service providers to host the app and database and to send email; they process data only on our instructions.
6. Storage and security
Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure. Identity and payment-proof documents are kept in private storage and served only through a signed, access-checked link. Access to data is restricted by row-level security so each person sees only their own records.
7. Retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service and meet legal and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data.
8. Your rights
Under Law 09-08 you have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. You may also contact the CNDP (Commission Nationale de contrôle de la protection des Données à caractère Personnel).
9. Cookies and sessions
We use only the cookies necessary to keep you logged in and to remember your language. We do not use advertising trackers.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be communicated in the app.
